The globe is a nice idea, but it was not clear from Brookstone, on the inside. . . speckled much distortion. I thought it was very difficult to read to a failure of the names. I called Brookstone and they took me back and credited to compensate, but not me back for my shipping to them. I felt that was a bad customer service, if the item was defective. Rating: 2 / 5

I had to choose between this and get the Ion Levitron Floating World. I decided to go with this, because there is no power supply and is by light rather daarvan.Helaas I’ve driven the wrong choice. Not swim, not only the world as Levitron ion is not, but it runs as a barely advertised. I put the globe in the brightest room in my house and it barely worked. It would run very slowly and finally stop gekomen.Als not run, would run so slowly that you could not even tell it was running, unless you looked really close. A casual passerby would not notice it and if you run it as a conversation piece as I do not moeite.Als a revolving globe, get the latest version of the Levitron ion. I just had this product in Hong Kong for more than 400 U.S. dollars gemaaktme hesitate to buy it, so I was glad to find it on Amazon for $ 100. Actually, the ancient rose beige color instead of blue ocean, was primamet me. The Globe is an elegant and interesting desk accessory. The world is spinning with no visible power or mechanical devices. I did this as a gift, but I would be one for my office. Rating: 5 / 5
